Yingadi Aboriginal Corporation, through the skills and experience of their Consultancy Team, offer a range of services to the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities. They can include (but are not limited to):

  1. Assisting local government, government agencies, schools, corporate bodies and community groups in their journey of reconciliation;
  2. Cultural competency training;
  3. Cross cultural education and
  4. Staff Induction Programs.

Each particular service can provide a range of programs or processes uniquely tailored to organisational needs.

The Yingadi Team specialise in the development of cultural induction programs for existing and new staff members with the capacity to develop a manual for continuing staff induction purposes.
Workshops typically range from half day to 1 day and can be delivered onsite or an Aboriginal organisation venue and if possible a significant Aboriginal historical site. Each workshop process is developed to meet the unique requirements of each group or organisation.

Our Consultancy Team can support Aboriginal organisations to develop and preserve Cultural practices programmes through the establishment of cultural centres, healing centres and places of belonging for Aboriginal Peoples. We can work one to one to develop feasibility and business plans to meet the aspirations of community members or groups.

We currently run a cultural immersion for the general public, secondary students and teachers to Lake Mungo 8 times a year. (Please refer to feedback from participants on the web site).

Yingadi has developed curriculum resources for The Apology Day 13th of Feb, Reconciliation Week 27th May to 3rd of June and NAIDOC Week in July. (refer to web site).
